‘Imagine the Unimaginable’ is an ongoing research project exploring what generative AI makes possible when imagination has no constraints. It starts from the observation that adults unlearn how to dream freely as they get older and uses that as a premise.

The project began in 2023 and gained significant online attention from the start, leading to widespread recognition and multiple exhibitions across the Netherlands. It tests visual territory that doesn’t exist yet and pushes the tools past their obvious applications. AI is treated not as a shortcut but as a medium with its own logic and limits.
