AFTERimage is a visual series exploring the juxtaposition of memory, perception and digital transformation. A response shaped by my love for abstraction, color, mixed media, and all the art forms I’ve explored over time. Each image begins in the studio, using only material I’ve created — paintings, textures, photographs, and digital compositions layered and reworked into something new. From this evolving archive, I’ve created an AI model that generates visuals which feel both familiar and new, rooted in my own visual language. After the generation, I return to each image: editing, refining, reshaping. I continue a process where hand and machine, organic and synthetic, meet. From that, something new takes shape: an afterimage not of what was first seen, but of what it became.
