For one month, the Rijksmuseum is extending its hours until midnight every night for a special event called ‘Nights with The Night Watch.’ This trial is aimed at accommodating those who can’t visit during regular working hours. To promote this new extended schedule and create a nighttime atmosphere, they’ve draped Amsterdam in dark blue cloth, allowing people to experience the nocturnal ambiance in advance.
